I liked this book because it showed how new friends can help heal old wounds. It's easy to read, easy to follow and brings up a lot of interesting points all through the book. It's easy to discuss, as each person will have a lot of different thoughts regarding the characters and the plot. At times it is a little un-realistic but overall it's a well written novel.
This book deals with grief in a realistic manner. Also depicts how secrets kept tear away at relationships. Knitting is the bond or thread that woven through the story brings redemption to all the characters.
