What a life to explore! I would find myself stopping at points in the story and thinking 'this is a life someone has lived!' A view of the 'haves' and 'have nots' in society life; I felt so sad for the children and the lack of love from their parents. Yet I was thankful for the nanny and the attention she gave. However, that kindness always came back to her as a negative from her 'employer.' Basically, they make the babies and let someone else nuture them. I wanted to strangle a few of them!

It was an easy read that made you think often about whether their really were people who lived and treated their kids that way. I felt really sad at the end.
