Terry Fallis is a wonderful wordsmith. His descriptions are dead on: each paints a vivid picture of its subject. The situations are laugh-out-loud funny. "Sure I will put my name up for the election but I do not want to be elected." When The Best Laid Plans go awry, our hero steps up and become the ideal politician. Lovely, funny book in which one learns quite a bit about the Canadian Political System.
