Our book club read this as our October book - we are all from New England and we liked that the book took place in Salem. This was an easy book to read, loved that it went back and forth from now to back to the Salem witch trials without being confusing.

While the book did leave a lot to be desired -- it was a pretty good first novel. It was packed with information, a nice - fresh - perspective, and turned out to be a great discussion starter. It was a quick, easy and relatively compelling read.
