A wonderful selection for book clubs.

We all agreed that this is one of the scariest books we've ever ready. It is a family dealing with a world wide medical crisis. Part of what makes it so scary is that this book is from the family's point of view not the government or science lab. The family's struggle makes it so much more personal.
We were also very fortunate to have the author, Carla Buckley, at our meeting to discuss not only her book but the writing process as well.

Very realistic story of what could happen if we were hit with a flu pandemic - social interactions - coping with things we are not at all prepared for. Characters were well developed to the point of where you understood the choices they made and had empathy even for those who chose to turn their backs on friends. Frightning, interesting and kept me reading till all hours of the morning!
