I really enjoyed this story. I began reading it to determine if it was appropriate for my daughter to read and was quickly hooked. The characters are very entertaining. There is just the right mix of suspense, humor, action, and romance. I will warn you that the book ends with a "cliff-hanger" and you will want to jump right in to the next book (City of Ashes) to find out how things turn out. However, I don't feel that it would be appropriate for an adult book club pick. A teen book club would probably have lots to discuss though.

I loved it. I agree with another review that it is a good read for both teens and adults but better for a teen group to discuss. I couldn\\\'t put it down. I had to get City of Ashes ASAP to find out what was next.
