1951 Vietnam. The French are fighting a loosing battle and the Americans are coming in, undercover, to get things right. Ha! This isn\\\'t an easy read, but Graham Greene\\\'s beautiful writing keeps you going. One of our group commented that she hated the book, until she realized she was unable to put it down...so she must like the book. A wonderful discussion about the time, the place and the characters followed. I highly recommend this book for all book groups.
