Great descriptive narrative about how challenging relationships can be within the family dynamic. In the end the lesson I gleaned was you have to trust the choices your children make of a life partner, be there for them when asked only & lastly maintain interests of your own so as to not be judged a "meddling" mother-in-law.

As a Mom of a teenager I enjoyed what this book had to offer. A glimpse in to the future of navigating my relationship with my daughter and the partner she chooses. Exciting to consider but also full of potential potholes, hurt and disappointment. The importance of acceptance and letting go of the leadership role. I feel like the book examined all the angles in a way that was entertaining and insightful.
