We at our book club enjoyed this book. Had quite a good group discussion. Very discriptive writing. Stories were enjoyable.

Although I do love well written short stories, Grisham's Ford County didn't quite fulfill my expectations. I much prefer his novels. Not a bad read. Actually, OK for something light, and I did enjoy his character development.

I am a John Grisham fan. His stories were a bit grim and they are more popular with men I think. The main characters were not nice people and so not easy to feel sympathy for them. Some stories were such that you wondered what happened next. I did like the book though many in my group did not.

I found the stories pointless and the further I read I said to myself "why am I reading these meaningless stories". I never finished the last two stories but from others learned the last one was a bit uplifting.
