A very unusual book blending Kaballah, physics, love and family.
I suggested this book for our book club, as I had seen reviews comparing it to The Time Traveler's Wife. Let me say, quite honestly, this is no Time Traveler's Wife. No one from our book club enjoyed it. We all felt it was poorly written, repetitive, cliched and badly edited. The character development & descriptions were poor & the plot sophomoric & confusing. I was so looking forward to it and ended up being disappointed.
This was an interesting novel although an understanding of Kabbalah would have been helpful. It does present many thought provoking ideas about science, religion and love which make for much discussion. It was enjoyed by most of the group, although not one of our favorite reads.
