I have to admit, I had to finish the book. The story did hold me, but I kept waiting for some brightness somewhere and the only place I found it was in the change in the family relationship. But I did not like how I felt after the story was finished.

My second time reading this book and I still love it. How does a former single globe-trotting flight attendant survive when plague hits and she is stuck with her new stepdaughters. This is a superfast , constantly evolving ,great read
