If you are in the mood for a fast-paced family saga with strong female characters, then this is the book for you. The lead character is an intellectual socialite in English society that definitely does not play by the rules. The story is enjoyable and kept me turning the pages. Though the action clips along at a quick pace, we do come to know and care about the characters. Overall, an enjoyable read.
