The first couple chapters were slow moving but once you make it past those, the story really picks up and you get sucked into the lives of the characters.

Very disappointing. Very slow to develop...we decided the book could have started at Chapter 52. The setting was more well developed than some of the characters. And there were a lot of characters, making it a little hard to follow.
