Although a short book (less than 100pgs), this book was a bit difficult to dive into but once in, worth the time and effort. The bio of RLS at the beginning and reading the footnotes help bridge the bit of the language barrier between 19th century English and 21st century American. Although dark and gloomy, it needs to be to set the tone of the story.
