I was really taken with CeeCee. I really feel that her sixteen years was not enough experience for such an older guy. But her true self shone at the end of the book--which was very heroic and brave. It does pay to be honest even circumstances that you should have known better than get involved. I really enjoyed the book. Once I got started reading it I couldn't put it down. Kudos to Diane Chamberlain.
Interesting read, well written. Makes you think about how easily a person's life can get off track. Explores the idea of doing wrong for the greater good. Also, looks at the impact secrets can have on relationships.
Great book! Lots of different angles to discuss!
This is a great book and while you read it, you want Cee Cee Wilkes to turn out OK, you feel for her and her love for her family. And as a parent, you understand her love for her daughter. But if you step aside from the book and really think about it...you cringe at the thought of what she did to get that family that she loves so much...
