Quick, fluffy read, but won't make you better for reading it.

This was a rather fluffy murder mystery. It was ok as a mindless beach read, but didn't provide much in the way of thought-provoking discussion as a book group read - although we did have fun discussing the book's negative attributes and lack of realism! It does contain a bunch of recipes. One girl made the "Dungeon Bars," and they were quite tasty!

A light, easy read. I enjoyed the food related parts and the recipes, but found the characters and situations unconvincing and somewhat unrealistic. I didn't hate the book, but I don't think I would recommend it to other book clubs.

Total fluff but quite easy to read. I prefer more meat to my reading. The recipes were the only highlight.
