I loved The Dante Club! I did read Dante in college but many of our book club members had not and they still enjoyed the book. I was intrigued from the first page by the plot and couldn't put the book down. I also learned a lot about post-Civil War Boston and the Fireside Poets group, which I had never studied before.

Once one gets past all the literary references, c. 80 pages, it is a book you cannot put down
