I loved the author's use of descriptive adjectives-I could vision the book very vividly. I also enjoyed the recipes and our book club hostess this month chose to make some for our group discussion-that made it even more enjoyable. Goldy's character was unrealistic, but overall it was a decent book.

This book was hard to get into. It had alot of characters which left some of us trying to remember who was who and which storyline went with which character. The best part of the book was by far the recipes, which our hostess made. They were delicious! This is not a book that I would recommend for book clubs...not a lot to discuss. At least there was the great food and company!
