And, no, Chief Tolliver has not come back to life; rather, many flashbacks in this book pertain to a case worked and thought solved by Chief Tolliver. Now the case of a suspected serial killer has come to Atlanta. And perhaps it was not solved, after all. Now Will is working it with the rest of his team in Atlanta, including Sara.
