This book is interesting; it goes back and forth between the past and present, as well as between characters. The story itself is good, but I was a little disappointed by the ending.

This is an interesting story about how events can change the course of our lives forever and through tragedy happiness can still survive. It is tender and touching; told from the perspective of an elderly couple in the final stages of life. I enjoyed this book.
