This was amazing. A midwife's recollection of her work in the East End of London (England) in the 1950s. The stories of the people are quite incredible and I found myself going through all emotions - laughing one moment, horrified the next and then crying. I cannot recommend this enough (although I am in England I think you Americans would enjoy this too.)
