If you can make it past the first 100 pagers, you will find a book that is interesting read. Now I heard Oprah say it was one of the best books she read in the last 10 years. I would not go that far. I say read it and judge it for yourself.
I really enjoyed this book. I was captivated by the story of black owned slaves. This was an excellent book group book. The members in our group found many, many topics to discuss with everyone highly enjoying the story.
I enjoyed the book but thought there were too many people introduced through out!
