It took a while to get used to the writing style of the author, but once I was accustomed to the style the story was wonderful.
Adrienne Sharp's beautiful novel, "The True Memoirs of Little K" brings the opulent world of the Romanov Empire and the turbulent days of the Russian Revolution to life. The story of the prima ballerina who was the mistress of Tsar Nicholas II, Sharp's lyrical writing transports the reader to the lavish drawing rooms of St. Petersburg, the regal stages of the Russian Ballet, the grand palaces of the Russian court. This is history disguised as a love story.

if you like historical fiction you will like this I think. I did find that it was a book that you had to pay attention to while reading. However I did not find it a dry fiction read. It was entertaining and I Loved the history part. Definitely a good read for me.
