Our book club read this last month after reading positive reviews in the media. This book is so hard to read. It doesn't flow well -- the quotes used to describe different time periods do not fit well and distract from the story. The subject itself is interesting, but what could have been said in 1 page takes 4 or 5. I would not suggest this book for a fun book group. Most of the people in our group didn't even finish it after readinf the prologue.
