I had no idea that so much about people's lives could be conveyed through one day a year. I was pleasantly surprised how well that worked. Though not the best book that I have ever read, I did enjoy it.

It was very hard to follow, much like Time Traveler's Wife. Our BC didn't even spend 15 minutes discussing it. The dynamics between the two main characters didn't seem realistic. And, the ending left a lot to be desired.

It was fascinating to see how much information could be conveyed in one day glimpses. While I found this to be a generally interesting book, our group was evenly divided among the "like/dislike" and despite assistance from several website discussion questions, we found it difficult to discuss.

I really enjoyed this book and found I could not put it down until I was finished.

I fell in love with the characters and found this book hard to put down. It was so interesting to peek in on their lives one day each year throughout the ups and downs of their friendship.

I liked certain parts of the book. Chapter 18 made me angry and I love a book that can evoke emotion of any kind. The majority of my book club members didn't like the book so much.

We were all a little surprised at how much we liked this book. Most of us didn't like Dex personally most of the time, but he made for a great character. We were all shocked by chapter 18. Definitely a surprise for us all there.

I found the book to be slow & uninteresting. Wasn't even interested in the ending. Didn't do anything for me. Wish I would have had that time back.

I couldn't put this book down. Everyone in our book club loved it.
