This was difficult to rate, because although the book was difficult to get through and boring at parts, it was well written, which is why I liked it. Every other book in our club I'd be happy to read again, however, I will probably never pick up this book again.
I know this book has been well-reviewed and has won awards but I had a hard time with it. The writing was good but I just did not "get" the point or the story. I really disliked the book (as did all other members of the club) but was surprised about the conversation it did strike in book club. We all did have a lot to say.
