This book was so predictable that I didn't have to finish it to know what happens. There were a few times that caught my attention but not very often. It was like a mystery novel that is so much like other mysteries that they all seemed the same.
Just a complete waste of time----had no feeling for the characters, predictable, lifeless, drab, any mention of God could have been placed at the ending of any sentence. Just a worthless book----i suggest you take this book and the author off your website, off any suggestion list----need i say more? our club "won" this book from you. perhaps we should not enter again if this is the quality of your book selections.
This was just your basic suspense story that wasn't really suspenseful because the whole book was very predictable. There were no real surprises; very formulaic.
Sadly our book group which were the receipients of gift books
were uniformly unhappy with the book. Predictable outcomes led the critiques. Otherwise, it was a partly pleasant, easy read.
