I thought 'Fight Club' was a dark and beautiful insight into the main character's mind. The book isn't as much about fighting as it is about insomnia and mental instability and a society of lost, fatherless men looking for a father figure and finding one in Tyler Durden. I would recommend it to readers with strong stomachs [the gore is definitely there, even if it's not the mail concept] who love a good twist.
These people have some real problems, very dark problems. But the way it was written I became addicted to the main character. Also kudos to the writer for putting in the hilarious bits of comedy to lighten the dark areas. The ending was tremendous..its worth the read! I could totally see Brad Pitt as Tyler!
