My husband doesn't read alot of books each year and he said he didn't want this to end. I was really surprised how much I liked this since I wasn't an Agassi or a tennis fan.
Good read that really keeps you interested all the way through. Even with (very) limited knowledge of tennis, this book provided insight into an athlete's life and the challenges he faced through all stages of his career.
I grew up watching Andre Agassi play tennis on TV and thought I knew him based on his looks and the media coverage. Incredibly interesting to hear his side of the story, which was often 180 degrees from what I believed. This book is really well written and I was drawn in. You do not need to be a tennis fan to love this book. In fact, my non-tennis playing friends and those who don't follow or play sports at all LOVED Open. My book group hasn't read a non-fiction book in a while, and this turned out to be a fantastic pick.
