Our group read the first half of Exodus so I will wait to review it after our next meeting and our members finish the book. We discussed it last night. Although I loved the way this book is written and I loved the story, as did many in our group, it is not a great book for discussion as the subject matter is a little deep.

One of the best books ever written!! It is addictive, adventurous, dramatic, romantic, informative, insightful, inspiring and beautifully written. If you are interested in Judaism/sionism and the story behind this religion, you have to read this book. The film (1960) is based on the events that happened on the ship Exodus in 1947 and dealing with the founding of the state of Israel in 1948. The main character in the movie is played by Paul Newman!!! The Book is a must-read!!!
