I enjoyed this book and read it cover to cover. I found the first part of the book very confusing but I kept going and once it had all fitted into place it was very clear what was going on. It was very thought provoking as it made one wonder if this sort of thing could ever happen when the world would be controlled by non humans. I have given the book 7/10, I think that is a bit mean as it was well written and the Author's imagination was brilliant. As I said before, it wasn't easy to get into. Also there were so many wasted paper which made the book very heavy.

Although generally I enjoyed the book I thought it was a bit long and also a bit confusing at times.
I score it 6.

When i started to read this book - I felt as if I had begun to read the book from the.middle. nothing seemed to make any sense. There was a large cast of characters, some human and some AI , this was confusing. Even at the end of the book there did not seem to be an answer
Or a future for those characters
The book was easy enough to read, just very confusing. Did I enjoy the book ? I really don't know ! I doubt if I would want to read another by this author and mark this one as 3

Enjoyed the book but thought it too long in parts with rather too many characters. 8 out of 10

I must admit I really was dubious about this one as I have been about previous ones but this is what I always say I love about book club that you get given a book and give it a chance where you normally may not. I certainly wouldn't have picked this book up in a book shop especially due to the length too. I really, really enjoyed it though. I was a bit nervy when it went down the AI/Sci fi route but really that only came with Abi. The storyline was intriguing with lots of mystery and a very large range of different characters. Loved the twists which I was not expecting at all. The plot was unique and I was really invested in it. Once I started it I found that I kept thinking about it when I wasn't reading it which for me is a sign of a very good book. The storyline and characters will stay with me for a long time. I would actually give this one a 10!!

I found this book very confusing to start with as there were so many characters, all with unfamiliar names which made it difficult to work out who was who for me. It became more interesting as it went along but was overly long and quite slow in parts. I felt it could have been a much more interesting book as the subject is fascinating but it fell a little flat for me. I would score it 5 out of 10.
