You could taste the salt water and feel the sun on the beach. Great insights into relationships between sisters and friends.

The Book Club enjoyed the book but thought it was a bit juvenile.

It took me a long time to get into this book. Very drawn out, with the exception of the romantic parts it was a no go for me. I did however finish the book with hopes that it would get better, but it never did.

This was a little slow for Ann Brashares.

My club as a group didn't like this book. Couldn't understand why the characters acted the way they did (not wanting to introduce spoilers here). Why didn't they just tell the truth to each other if they loved each other as they claimed?
