I could not put this down after I started reading it. The characters all rang true. They all learned so much about themselves by the time the story ended.

This was a very good book. I had to keep reading to find out how it all happened. I was absolutely absorbed in this book. Simply written but spoke volumes!!

This book really kept my interest, I finished it in 3 days! It deals with parental expectations and how they effect a teenager with depression and far too much pressure to be perfect. Very easy and quick read.

Fantastic storytelling of a poignant issue....teen suicide.
Anyone with teens can especially relate to the subject matter.

I liked this book but not nearly as much as some of her other books. It brought up some good discussion points in our club however, so I think it is a good book club book.

The Pact is a book that every parent, grandparent, educator should read. It deals with the topic of teen suicide and the ramifications it has on families and other loved ones. A must read.

Our book club had various opinions about this book. Some of the words to describe it were, touching, obsessive,manipulative, unfinished, intriguing. Many said that you could tell that this was one of Jodi Picoult's first novels by the writing.

Another of Picoult's dramas with many twist and turns. A lot of angles to discuss.
