I had little expectations for this book & got it only because I'd read about the HBO series. I could NOT put it down & finished in 2 days! It is a silly, fun and lusty pleasure! Unlike any other book I'd ever read before. I can honestly say I enjoyed every minute of it. A perfect "light read".

Loved this book so much I went on to read the entire Sookie Stackhouse series. It was like a sexy vampire soap opera in book form. The main character Sookie finds herself in love with all the wrong men, or rather supernatural beings in a small backwoodsy town in Louisiana. It is a quick easy read that keeps your attention and keeps you laughing at times. Can't wait to see the HBO series.

Fun, quick read. Leaves you wanting to read other books in the series.

I loved the Twilight series and have just started on this one. Looking forward to the next novel in this series!
