I was a bit surprised by this novel. It follows Emmy, a FBI analyst, who is obsessed with tracking a killer. The trouble is that no one believes that the deaths of the people are suspicious. Emmy lets the obsession take over her life to the point where she is lying to her fiance and causing disruptions in her career.
The killer uses a wheelchair to stake out his victims. He is very careful, mapping out routes without cameras. He flies under the radar for a long time. In addition to this murderer, someone is carrying out acts of violence on property to protest injustices.
You will be led to believe certain things in this book, and it will push you to think you know the answers, but you will be incorrect. The ending has a big surprise reveal that you likely would not see coming.
I liked the book a lot, but the ending wasn't the best.
