This was an interesting book, but the ending was unsatisfactory. Kara is a high school student who has, thought an accident, taken the life of another student. She struggles with guilt. But the story is told from the viewpoint of her mother. There is no real resolution to the story; we don't know if Kara gets past her feelings of guilt. However, I do think this would be a good book club pick with lots of 'discussion points'.
