This is a challenging book to read and some people felt that reading it a second time would be worth while. Each chapter is written from a different character's perspective of the same event. The story takes place in Afghanistan and we see what happens to "good people" who need to follow the military command, as well as what follows from an "accidental" bombing of innocent people. It is not an easy read, since it takes a while to figure out what is going on in each new chapter, but for those who like a challenging book, with lots to discuss, this is a great choice
It is not a subject matter I would normally be interested in, but it was beautifully written. I was particularly impressed by the character development.
