"Simple Complexity" by klmarshall321 (see profile) 08/16/12

As I turned the last page, all I could say was wow! The plot, characters, and structure were so complex yet simple in language and easy to read. McDermott goes back and forth in time and point-of-view so beautifully and brings the story around full circle to a satisfying conclusion. Her detailed descriptions of the "non-poetic" and "artless" suburbs of the 1960's take on a beauty of their own. Highly recommended. Beautiful story!
