"A look at the relationship between black and white Africans during the early 1900's" by christymg (see profile) 12/09/07

I found this book to be shocking because of the way white Africans viewed and spoke of black natives. The story was a bit depressing due to the squalid living conditions of the main characters and their slow descent into maddness. I thought there would be more of a romance due to descriptions I have read, but I did not see one at all. It does however, have much you can discuss.
