Great book for discussion. Full of suspense and very well written.

DESCENT is a psychological thriller that is far different from other psychological thrillers. It is a page-turner from the very beginning and I found it interesting to learn about each character throughout the book. There are definitely a few twists and turns in the story and they added to my overall enjoyment. The structure of the story may be difficult for some to read, especially if you read a bit, set it aside, and come back to it later.

The structure of the book took me several chapters to figure what the storyline was. It is probably me being too linear in my thinkings. I enjoyed hearing what my fellow members had to say more than actually reading it.

This book made for a very live,y discussion at our book club. I would say that most of us didn't love this book. At times it was hard to put down, while other sections of the book were off track from the main story. Overall interesting, but most of us didn't care for the style of writing.
