humorous, with lots of social material for commentary
Good classic choice for our club and I enjoyed reading something I hadn't read yet by Twain.
It is not about how Hank got there...but rather a vehicle for Twain's political and social commentaries. His highly descriptive tail-spinning is most amazing. I see why he lives on!
Opinionated claptrap.
A classic, with so much to say about right and wrong, monarchy vs democracy, rich vs poor and slavery. Mark Twain really tells a long, interesting story, very well. It is deep, and intelligent, and maybe preferable for book groups that like to read classice.
