Cute book, light read, funny at parts. I'm looking forward to trying the sequal, "Baby Proof."
This book was fabulous. It was an easy read and yet so many unexpected twists and turns throughout. This is a great book to read on vacation because it is like getting the juiciest gossip over and over again. It does make you think about what is really right and wrong and what you would do in the same situation. I immediately went out and read the sequel Something Blue which is also very good.
This book has a section in the back with questions for discussion. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It's easy to form opinions, therefore very easy to discuss!
This was a nice escapist piece of chick lit that has made me a fan of the author.
An entertaining book. Chick Lit and light and nice for a change of pace.
This was a really fun book to read...and I loved the 2nd book with the same characters "Something Blue". Then she came out with a 3rd book, "Baby Proof" which I thought was the 3rd book, but was not. All 3 books were fun & easy to read.
non-formulaic, romantic; infused with hope and strength of character
It was a fun and quick read. Like some of the characters but disliked others. There is a twist and it made it more interesting. Our book club enjoyed it.
Very cute. Fun, fast read. I did't think our book club would have a lot to talk about but we had "great" conversations! I would like to read the next one of her books "Something Blue" because it's from the point of view of the "selfish" one in this book
What a great easy summer read. I loved it. You could easily identify with characters and having not seen the movie I can easily see why they picked Kate Hudsen for Darcy! Definitely a good summer book.
This was a fun story. I could totally get into the characters but the events were not realistic. At least not to me and the life I live.
It is hard to describe how I felt about this book. Once I started it, I didn't dislike it enough to stop. However, I found it difficult to continue reading a book in which I genuinely did not like the characters.
Overall, I wasn't impressed and have no intention of continuing this series.
Needed this book after a string of heavy books.
I found myself supporting the main character, Rachel, despite not agreeing with what she what doing. The novel delves into childhood friendships and how difficult it is to break out of your childhood friendship "role" even though you have moved into adulthood. I found "Something Borrowed" to be entertaining, funny, and a quick read. I will be reading the sequel "Something Blue" to finish the story.
