This book was based on the real life of Mary Ingles, most of us found Mary quite brave in the beginning doing what she needed to do to survive. 5 out of 6 of us did not agree nor comprehend the choice she made concerning her children. It was very insightful about the lives of the Indians, how they lived so effiently
