The title indicates much more than simple mileage. This was an eye-opener as to the life of immigrants coming to the US for work, and what they must endure and overcome in order to succeed. I wish our Congressmen would read this. They might be inspired to come up with a more realistic immigration policy.
This book was an inspiring memoir on breaking the cycle of poverty through education. It also depicts the importance of having a mentor.
This was an excellent book for discussion. Especially pertinent given today's political climate. It gives immigration a whole new twist.
