A realistic and poignant view of a marriage with all of its triumphs and difficulties from the point of view of a woman who has just lost her husband. The book made me think about God, relationships, death, and life. Some groups may want to use caution since this book has some rather graphic descriptions of sexual encounters. I did not find these descriptions gratuitous or distasteful, however, and understood why they were included.
