I don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t care for books of this genre but always read the club\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s selection, regardless of whether or not it was something I might ordinarily choose to read. I gave this one a try but just could not get interested in it. 2 others in my club also attempted to read it but gave up as they too were bored with it. Only 2 finished it - the person who selected it for the group because she had already read it and loved it. The other person in the club who finished it did not particularly care for it either. The others in the club were not the least bit interested in the story based upon a reading of the book jacket and chose to not even attempt to read it.
