This story about forensic science and forensic anthropology is multi-layered, with several surprises. The characters are realistic, the answers to the mysteries are not revealed until the end, and the details about modern and historic Ireland are fascinating. Good read, but then mystery is my genre of choice!
I enjoyed the book as I enjoy history and archaeology.
Also the bit of romance. The character development was excellent . Well written and moved along well.
A very enjoyable read.
This mystery is well-paced with interesting characters. We chose it for October to set the mood for Halloween. It was a hit with our club. One member read it in 2 days! It does include a lot of Irish terms and names. The paperback version did not include the glossary but one is available on the author's webite. This didn't seem to bother readers, though.
