Well written, Naomi Ash's story draws the reader in. But she is an unreliable narrator and we are never really sure what is real as the story unfolds, or even looking back after it is finished. This is what drew me into the story as well as the unique content of spiritualism. At its heart, this book is more about relationships than it is a mystery, although we don't know why she did it until 3/4 of the way through the book. A good choice for book clubs as I expect it will promote a lot of discussion.
