I like the premise of women in the 80's meeting for book club to discuss trashy novels. I remember reading all those trashy novels mentioned in this when I was young...and not really taking away the women's power message in them.

The story is about a couple with two children who start and run a winery which was at the top of its league and one point and now losing lots of money because Rose wine is a big trend and they don't offer that type of wine. This beautiful estate had years of wine tasting events, showers & weddings managed by the Matriarch & the Chef of the venue.

The whole family gets together for a visit and senses problems with the business. Basically the women of the family spend time together, discover old novels in the library leading to discussions of strong women which inspires them to work together to save the winery business. (less)
