From The Pony Express to present day. How could danger be this far reaching?

Owen McKenna is back and this time is solving the disappearance of Jade Jaso who was related to a Pony Express rider and whose ancestors had something to do with stolen jade statues.

While searching for clues in Jade's house, Owen finds a coded letter from 160 years ago that was written by President Abraham Lincoln. After reading the letter, and finding out the meaning of the coded message, Owen realizes this definitely has something to do with Jade’s father’s death and then her disappearance.

What could have been in that coded letter that someone desperately wants after all these years?

Owen amazes us again at his research skills and his skills at intimidating witnesses with the help of His Largeness.

As the investigation continues, in typical Owen fashion, we can’t have him investigating without some tension and danger as he narrows in on where he thinks Jade may be.

This time Owen’s plane is shot at and is leaking gas as he and his girlfriend, Street, are 10,000 feet in the air.

Of course that isn't all he was involved in that upped the tension as the book draws to its close.

Owen's ending heroics will have you on the edge of your seat as he narrows in on Jade's rescue.

I always learn something about an unknown sport or an interesting historical fact when reading Mr. Borg's books.

He is a wealth of information, and his writing style keeps you very interested.
